Job Description:  Assistant to the Managing Director

 

What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for an Assistant to the Managing Director to help with all the critical tasks that may seem small, but help a company run smoothly. This job is based in Tianjin, China.

 

We are looking for candidates who:

Have experience working with teams, know a little about accounting, HR and company operations and want to learn more about each; additionally, candidates must know how to prioritize among multiple tasks; You will be using English daily, We are a foreign company so any experience working for a foreign firm, having studied or traveled abroad will be helpful in understanding our company culture.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Managing Director,

  • Doing some English/ Chinese translation work,

  • Speak regularly to our outside vendors (HR, Tax, etc),

  • Assist with HR issues including payroll, contracts, visas,

  • Work with managers from the retail stores we own,

  • Answer the phones, deal with the mail,

  • And pretty much anything else that might need to get done!
